A Love Story

It’s wedding season and your time to say “I DO” in grand style. Romance is in the air and who doesn’t want the story book wed­ding? Let’s face it, wed­dings are productions and can be very costly. Adding the element of an exotic location to your dreams of matrimony can be magi­cal or a nightmare. I must admit weddings excite me mostly due to the style and of course tasting the icing on the cake and the bubbly.

Given the chance, I jumped at the opportunity to chronicle the love story of Mr. & Mrs. Noble Jones. Fol­lowing the Destination Wedding preparation was no easy feat, prompting the authoring of this story. Let’s just say this couple developed their very own coined phrase “The best is yet to be.” This phrase is a reflection of working hard to make something special but being present in the moment to enjoy the miracles of God’s grace. Fortunately for the Joneses a combination of love, family, friends, laughter and of course shots of tequila along with signature pear margaritas made for a living editori­al.

The Destination

A gorgeous backdrop makes for magical memories. The Nizuc Resort and Spa is no exception. Opting for a sunset wedding the Jones’ set a new standard in celebrating love. Did we mention the blinged out converse sneakers? YES! HELLO! The accessories are what make an ensemble POP. Thankfully we were able to ring the bell of Charming Charlie’s Executive Creative Director Eric Samuel Green. The Groom

Pop Your Collar Prince Charming.  Noble Jones states “Planning weddings can be stressful, be slow to speak and fast to listen and always choose patience and love.” It takes two to tango and oftentimes the groom’s fashion is totally ignored. All of the planning and whimsical dreams will be an epic fail if your Prince Charming looks like a toad. Our groom, Noble Jones was a perfect candidate and team player in orches­trating his personal ensemble and coinciding wardrobe for his groomsmen. Smart, debonair, yet affordable were defining qualities established by the groom for his wedding day look. As a NASA Aerospace Engineer turned medical student, Noble Jones has family goals one of which is to be financially sound. Smart man! I think he is a keeper

To that end, we styled No­ble in a light blue suit with hues of pink that blended harmoniously with the wedding colors and the ocean view landscapes. I think all grooms should be able to pop their collars like Noble Jones.
