Do your Research! Finding a photographer who knows how to take photos in remote locations means doing your research. Some of the most beautiful places are tucked away from all to see —that’s what makes these locations so intimate. Finding a photographer who can capture your vision and go the extra mile or two and get you to that perfect destination is worth the research.

Of course check out their website, but check out their social media links as well. You'll find their most updated work in these spots. See if they have captured weddings in remote locations. Once you've narrowed it down to photographers you like, email them and explain your vision and simply ask what locations they think would be a fit.

Radion Photography found a remote location in Idaho for these two to document their love. The bride is wearing the Felix gown by Tara Lauren. A long sleeved lace wedding gown with a keyhole back. Selecting your location! After your photographer makes suggestion, go and scout out his recommendations. They are going to be experts on selecting a location for the time of year, whether or not it will be an elopement, or if there will be guests at the ceremony. Although getting married in a remote location maybe challenging, as you can see the intimate experience and photographs are priceless.

Bring tennis shoes or walking friendly shoes. Most of these locations will require a bit of hike. So don’t forget to hold off wearing your brand new Badgley Mischka wedding shoes until your ceremony begins. Make sure to wear shoes that protect against any slips and sharp rocks.
