After growing up in the wedding business and watching her parents build the premier wedding brand, Cescaphe, in Philadelphia for the past 2 decades – Sophia is now planning a wedding of her own. She has worked alongside her parents since she was 16 years old in many different roles. Now, she is working closely with her mom and dad renovating and designing new wedding venues for future couples. After witnessing so many brides on the happiest day of their lives, she has dreamt of the day she would become a bride herself, and her passion for interior design and attention to detail is at the forefront of her own planning journey. Captured by Behind The Scenes Bridal, Sophia’s bridal shower was hosted in Philadelphia at The Bellevue featuring an enchanting European inspired organic garden theme.

Guests were welcomed with timeless black and white signage accented with neutral stripes and an organic floral installation.
Theme inspiration: organic garden
The venue was decorated to capture the essence of a European organic garden with plenty of whimsical yet luxurious florals. Cloches adorned tables, while a single stem white rose installation atop a classic grand piano became a focal point for portraits.
Custom line-drawings & drink toppers
Guests sipped on cocktails with gold bird and white butterfly drink toppers, complemented by custom napkins featuring a delicate floral line drawing.

Symbolic white butterflies
To enhance the European-inspired garden theme, Sophia incorporated white butterflies carefully placed throughout the venue as a tribute to her late grandmother who was Albino.

Other decor elements included organic grass florals, moss, garden birds, mixing metals, oversized fabric bows, fern and dragonfly linens, miniature terrariums, standing roses, ivory butterfly linens & carefully curated signage to tie it all together.
Hanging herbs & vegetables installation
The culinary stations were inspired by different European cultures enhanced by dripping fresh herbs & vegetables.
Closing out the perfect day
It was the perfect day surrounded by her closest family and friends. Her family has dedicated their entire lives to making thousands of couples’ wedding dreams come true, and now they are so excited to be planning a wedding of their own.
