From the bride:“I was never the girl who dreamed of the “perfect” day. I didn’t have a vision of the perfect dress, flowers, crafts, etc. All I was sure of when I started planning was the guy! So, when we started planning my main thought for “the big day” was that I wanted it to be simple and fun. I just wanted to celebrate with everyone, and enjoy the company of our favorite people in the whole world.
But that isn’t the most helpful when actually planning the wedding! I started thinking about it – I realized that Ryan and I are pretty laid back and I wanted everything to reflect that. When asked by vendors what the vibe was, I jokingly started calling the wedding “whimsical garden wedding.” But, when all was said and done I think that is exactly what we got. Everyone there just kept saying how “us” it was. Nothing too fancy, but sweet and fun.
It included everything, even the food, which was my absolute favorite! Fajitas, Queso, and margaritas – I could eat that daily. All the vendors we worked with really took my simple vision, and made it absolutely incredible. I came with small ideas, and they took them and created something that was more exciting and beautiful than I could have thought! Coca Cola is a small obsession of mine, so I knew I wanted a table with glass bottles and some cute coca-cola memorabilia. Stefanie took what I had collected and styled it into one of my favorite touches from that day. The relaxed atmosphere was the perfect setting for everyone letting loose and celebrating the night away!”
