I Do Venues: Garden Pavillion A Vintage Affair

Share

Photography by: Rosemarie Lion

About the venue

What makes for an amazing vintage affair? It all begins with the venue! The Garden Pavilion in Sonoma is the perfect location for the couple looking to embrace the look and feel of a vintage affair, but wants pure privacy. The sprawling lawn holds up to 200 guests comfortably and the historic pavilion pool and gardens are gorgeous. Whether you are a DIY bride or you want to let your designer loose, this is a wonderful location where you can have your imagination run wild.

Ask the expert

I loved the playful, free flowing energy and creativity brought into the wedding. It was reflected in the way the flowers were arranged and the metal clamps for napkin holders (Karen is an occupational therapist and John works in the construction business – this can be seen in their choices), as well as the mechanical typewriter and engraved rocks.

This venue is so charming – a real fairytale pavilion. You can rent the whole property for the weekend, and the house has the feel of a country pavilion as well. ~ Rosemarie Lion

I Do Venues wants to recognize the talented team of wedding professionals who helped to make this bride’s dream a reality: Photographer – Rosemarie Lion; Floral – Red Barn Store – Oak Hill Farm; Cake – Sweetie Pies; Catering – Piper Johnson Catering.
