Sam and Erica’s wedding day at the Bar Harbor Club was the perfect blend of coastal charm and timeless elegance. Captured by Clay Taylor Photo, their palette of blue and white with fresh green accents set the tone for a breezy, refined celebration inspired by the shoreline. The day felt especially meaningful given their story. Sam proposed on Erica’s favorite beach in her hometown of Rye, surprising her not only with the question but with a room full of her closest friends and family waiting to celebrate at Abenaqui Country Club. That same warmth and intention carried beautifully into their wedding day.

Bridal trend: customized dresses
Erica wore a stunning gown from Lovely Bride that her seamstress customized to feel uniquely her. With a refined slit, a reimagined neckline, and added straps, the dress perfectly complemented the coastal chic atmosphere. Erica also chose to wear two family heirloom wedding bands from her mother and great grandmother.

Coastal blue bridesmaid style
Her bridesmaids each selected their own dresses, many custom-made or from Reformation, creating a cohesive and effortlessly elegant look. The men wore custom State and Liberty tuxes that gave the entire wedding party an elevated, polished style.

The perfect “flower grandmother”
Their ceremony was emotional and beautifully scored with a piano rendition of A Thousand Years, and Erica’s grandmother Theresa served as the flower girl, delighting every guest in attendance.
