Set against the breathtaking natural backdrop of Villa Cipressi on Lake Como, this wedding design drew deep inspiration from the surrounding environment. Planned with the help of Vinova Events, and captured by Vivid Symphony, every detail was chosen to reflect the couple’s deep appreciation for the natural beauty of Lake Como, crafting a wedding aesthetic that felt not only personal but rooted in place – timeless, ethereal and wholly their own. Plus, we’d be remiss not to mention the bride’s four absolutely showstopping styles that took her from getting-ready to partying the night away after dinner.

Elevated garden-inspired suite
The untouched garden theme began with a carefully chosen invitation palette by Fabula Picta Design of muted sage, white, and light gold font. Floral outlines, a custom gold wax seal, and a custom watercolor of the venue elevated the suite even before guests arrived.

Getting-ready style: floor-length silk
The bride opted for a lace bust and silk floor-length slip dress while getting her hair and makeup done by Babeland Bridal, complemented with a sheer, floral-embroidered robe from Voir.

Ceremony style: chiffon overskirt
For the ceremony, the bride wore a lace high-neck, long-sleeve Galia Lahav gown with a showstopping chiffon ballgown overskirt.

Classic black & white style
The groom wore a black and white look with a white suit jacket, black bowtie, and black pants.

Palette inspiration: Lake Como sunset
The ceremony had a warm, romantic palette drawn from the hues of a Lake Como sunset – soft peach, coral, amber and rose – washed through the arrangements by Riccardo Ciceri, adding a sense of depth and atmosphere to the scene. The ceremony florals were artfully shaped to mirror the distinctive mountain line that framed the view from the villa, creating a powerful visual connection between the couple and the landscape for the ceremony. This design choice anchored the ceremony in its setting, making the environment feel like an integral part of the celebration.

Post-ceremony style: fitted lace
After the ceremony, the bride’s Galia Lahav overskirt was removed, revealing a sheer, fitted lace gown underneath.

Style inspo: organic untouched garden
For the dinner reception, the concept softened into a wilder, more organic expression. Tables were styled to feel like a quiet corner of an untouched garden – lush moss bases gave way to clusters of delicate florals in blush, ivory and soft green tones. Natural wood chairs added an understated elegance, harmonizing with the surrounding textures and creating a sense of effortless authenticity.

Timeless lighting option: chandeliers
Chandeliers glowed as the sun went down and it turned to blue hour.

Reception style: just a touch of sparkle
For the reception, the bride’s high-neck, long-sleeve lace top was removed, revealing a spaghetti-strap fitted version underneath with just the right touch of sparkle.
