Annika and Reily celebrated their love with a vibrant and heartfelt destination wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Planned with the help of Mil Besos and captured by Raw Shoots, this intentional and elegant destination wedding at Pangas Beach Club was the perfect example of how to keep things elevated yet seemingly simple, all while honoring the traditions of their destination.

Separate venues, same goal

In preparation for their big day, Annika and Reily got ready separately – Annika at Guesthouse Tamarindo, and Reily at The Maitri Villa.

Bridal style goals: understated elegance

Annika’s bridal details, from her bouquet of orchids, daisies, and roses to her gold anklet and sleek low bun with a veil, embodied understated elegance.

Bridesmaid inspo: tropical sunset

Her bridesmaids complemented the tropical setting in sunset-hued dresses of pinks, oranges, and yellows.

Groom’s style: Forest green + leather

Meanwhile, Reily’s forest green suit, paired with leather loafers and a mala bead necklace, reflected his laid-back yet polished style, accented by a boutonniere of yellow chrysanthemums. It was smiles all around with his best friends as they drank Pilsen, a classic local craft beer.

Destination tradition: floral mandala

The ceremony was a feast for the senses, with a floral mandala by Flores de Campos as the centerpiece instead of a traditional arch. Vibrant petals of daisies, ginger, and native blooms filled the space. Reily awaited Annika with a yellow bloom in hand as her father walked her down the aisle. The two read their vows atop the floral mandala, framed by the Ficus tree and among their closest friends and family.

Intimate beach portraits

After saying “I-do”, Reily dipped Annika at the end of the isle before running to the beach for intimate photos as husband and wife.
