the destination: sardinia

Madeleine and Sean’s love story led them all the way from Texas to the breathtaking coast of Sardinia. With just 35 of their closest family and friends, they celebrated their wedding at the Due Lune Resort in Puntaldia, a place that held deep meaning for the bride. Madeleine’s father is Sardinian, her mother is American, and having grown up with both cultures, it felt only natural to honor her Italian roots by saying “I do” in this stunning seaside destination. Most of their guests flew in from Texas, making the celebration not just a wedding but a heartfelt reunion in one of the world’s most enchanting places.
the vision: coastal chic

What made the wedding truly unique was the combination of Sardinia’s gentle climate, the warmth of a close-knit group, and the sophistication of details that felt both effortless and meaningful. Designed by Wonder Events, every moment was a reflection of love, heritage, and connection, creating the perfect setting for the beginning of Madeleine and Sean’s forever. Ila Flowering framed the beautiful view with white cloud-like floral clusters, adding to the whimsical design.

a warm welcome

Now this is how you throw a welcome party! The couple greeted their guests poolside as they arrived at the remote venue, where chic beach bags with local treats awaited. The best part about a party like this is that guests can come and go at their leisure, and there doesn’t need to be a set time or attire.

getting ready

Madeleine and Sean went to their respective suites to get ready. Madeleine sipped some bubbly with her besties before slipping into her crepe mermaid gown, while Sean shared some laughs with his groomsmen as they helped him put the finishing touches on his look.

the fashion

For her bridal look, Madeleine embraced simplicity. With minimal makeup and an elegant, natural style, her timeless beauty shone through effortlessly. This understated approach paired beautifully with the overall design of the day—minimal, refined, and deeply romantic.

creative signage

Wedding signage is the perfect opportunity to showcase your individual style without having to break the bank. This unique bar display has to be one of the most impressive we’ve seen in a while. From the on-theme shell and sand base to the die-cut illustrated menu, absolute perfection!
trend alert: caterpillar is the new serpent

Serpent tables have evolved and become something altogether new and different—introducing the caterpillar table. We love this layout for so many reasons. First, it photographs so well; just look how cool this aerial shot turned out! Plus, it allows for better conversation between your guests than the traditional, large round tables.
words of wisdom from the happy couple

The couple’s best advice? Keep it intimate. With everyone staying at the resort, the wedding turned into a long weekend of love, laughter, and togetherness. It wasn’t only about the big day itself but also the unforgettable moments shared before and after—sunsets, toasts, and endless conversations by the sea.
