Amid the rolling hills of Sonoma is a captivating wedding venue: Russina River Vineyards. The iconic winery and tasting room sits sentry to the entrance of the Russian River appellation. I love the rustic architecture – fashioned after historic Fort Ross, the weathered wood exterior is resemblance of the hop kilns that once dotted the landscape of the great agriculture region. If you are trying to go “green” for your celebration, Russian River Vineyards was the first certified green winery in the area and since the early 80’s, the families that have held stewardship to this grand estate have shown a devotion to sustainable farming practices.
