
Jacki and Karla’s wedding was a timeless and deeply personal celebration of love and culture. Jacki, a WNBA coach and former player, and Karla, who works in the beauty industry, brought their distinct worlds together for a refined and heartfelt destination wedding at Baja Luna‘s Janney Garden, planned with the help of Estefani Pina Events and captured by Photo by Julieta. With 115 very stylish guests and their closest family present, the day felt intimate, elegant, and entirely their own.

Both brides wore custom-designed looks by Justin Alexander that perfectly reflected their personal style—modern, sophisticated, and effortlessly chic. Karla carried a soft, romantic bouquet in ivory tones, while Jacki kept her look polished and minimalist.
Desert-inspired dress code
Guests leaned into the desert style with an effortlessly chic dress code in perfectly muted sunset colors.

Culturally inspired welcome sign
A custom sign reading “When Mexico Meets Greece” honored their cultural roots and beautifully symbolized their union.

Breaking bridal party traditions
Jacki and Karla chose to forgo a traditional bridal party, including only their beloved nieces and nephews in the ceremony.





Ceremony style: creamy ceramics
The ceremony was framed by lush garden florals by Velvet Floral arranged in creamy ceramic vessels, which were later repurposed behind their sweetheart table for the reception.
