Kamila and Youhana’s day unfolded like a love story told in four parts. She, with roots in Iraqi and Lebanese heritage, and he, proudly Chaldean, blended their cultures with reverence and romance. Planned with heart by Westgate Events, and captured in lyrical light by Ryann Lindsey Photography, this wedding at Omni Montelucia Resort & Spa wasn’t just a celebration—it was a symphony of soul, style, and two families becoming one.

Couture bridal style
The wedding morning began at a quiet Paradise Valley estate, where soft light poured over silk fabrics and laughter echoed through open windows. Kamila stepped into her Nicole & Felicia Couture gown, a sculpted dream that moved like poetry.

Getting ready at the family home
Meanwhile, at Youhana’s family home, the groom awaited her with a heart full of joy.

First look followed by a welcome ceremony
It was there that they shared their first look, followed by a traditional Chaldean welcome ceremony filled with music, ritual, and the hum of legacy.

Honoring wedding ceremony traditions
The couple wed beneath the arches of Holy Family Chaldean Catholic Church, a ceremony steeped in sacred tradition.

Cocktail hour around a custom bar
From there, the celebration transitioned into a cocktail hour under the Arizona sky at Omni Montelucia Resort & Spa, where a round black bar cradled a custom-built tree, its branches heavy with blooms and soft light. Beneath it, guests toasted with hand-crafted cocktails, lit cigars, and sipped rich espresso—every moment a nod to the couple’s attention to detail that they had put into wedding planning.

Modern mirrored seating chart
Guests found their seats at the reception thanks to a mirrored seating chart with custom wax seal. Signage incorporated the couple’s custom monogram and modern yet luxury design.

Reception decor: draped florals and candlelight
The reception was a dream spun out of draping and candlelight – four walls wrapped in silk, chandeliers dripping from the ceiling, and florals by Lux Florist AZ spilling across the room.

Delicate croquembouche
For dessert the newlyweds served a delicate croquembouche tower and plenty of macarons from Ruze Cakehouse.
