the vision: romance and refinement

The styled shoot, hosted by Styled Shoots Across America, was a dreamlike day of romance and refinement, set against a lush garden backdrop adorned with cascading white florals and timeless details. With the planning and expertise of Heather Benge and Alexia Woolum, the couple exchanged vows beneath an enchanting floral arch, draped with soft white fabric and delicately framed by roses, baby’s breath, and a sparkling chandelier—evoking a fairytale elegance. Captured with an editorial lens, the shoot embodied modern romance wrapped in timeless charm—a celebration filled with genuine emotion, natural beauty, and impeccable style.

the stationery

Playing off of the moody design for the day, the stationery leaned into the darker shades in the color palette. The hummingbird logo and pearlescent wax seal were used throughout the day to tie the design together.
the fashion

Lucy radiated joy and beauty in her off-the-shoulder lace gown, her soft curls and radiant smile stealing every scene. She carried a voluminous bouquet of creamy white roses, mirroring the breathtaking floral arrangements that lined the aisle and adorned the tablescapes.

trend alert: serpent tables

The reception featured a sophisticated yet organic aesthetic. Neutral-toned linens, black and white dinnerware, and clear ghost chairs created a modern contrast to the abundant blooms, by Intrigue Designs and Jet Fresh Flowers, spilling across the table. Every detail felt curated yet effortless, with touches of gold flatware and custom menus adding a personal, luxurious feel.

the bar

Guests were treated to His and Hers signature cocktails, a Gin & Tonic with Lime and Tito’s Lemonade. Then, they were asked to find their name on escort cards fastened to coupe glasses by dark green ribbons.

the cake

For dessert, the couple cut into a four-tiered wedding cake. The bow detail and textured buttercream finish perfectly complemented the refined yet natural setting.

the ride

The couple then posed in a white vintage convertible before making their big exit. We love that this team went the extra mile to create a floral installation for the getaway car; it makes for some seriously epic photos!
