their love story

Tara and Brandon’s story begins when they were both at the farmer’s market, living parallel lives. We both reached for the same fateful basket of strawberries when our hands grazed, we locked eyes, and…if you’re still reading this, we met on Hinge. Ok? Are you happy now? Our first date story is cute, though. Well, kind of. We went to South Point Casino. Brandon showed me how to use my first slot machine–Very Vegas. Regardless of how we met, it was instant love. We started spending every free second that we had together right after our first date. Our second date was Brandon helping me move into my apartment. He even built the furniture for me–that’s love! In the first week of knowing each other, we hung out 5 out of 7 days. Now we live together and still aren’t sick of each other! Since then, we have fallen more and more in love with each other as we have grown as individuals and as a couple.

the vibe: timeless white and green garden wedding

Aptly dubbed “The McLarty Party”, the wedding was a celebration of their new lives together in a beautiful oasis, Greengale Farms. With a ceremony arch by Beeingflower set against a beautiful forest backdrop (in the heart of Las Vegas, no less!). Designed by Everglow Events, the dinner and party were al fresco, with lovely shades of cream and sage to cohesively blend with the natural atmosphere.

getting ready

With the terracotta mountains in the background, Tara and her ladies lounged on the sun-drenched balcony of her bridal suite in matching satin robes while they sipped champagne and got ready for the day.

the fashion

In their matching sage green dresses, Tara’s bridesmaids held the long train on her Grace Loves Lace gown as they made their way down the forested path towards the aisle. Brandon, in his gray three-piece suit, waited for his bride framed by a whimsical floral arch crafted from white roses and baby’s breath.

the festivities and favors

Once the party picked up, guests could take a turn at the “McLarty Party” shotski while dancing under the string lights. Only a pretzel bar could pull them away! “We Tied the Knot” pretzel bags served as send-off favors for guests to enjoy en route to the after-party.
