Isabelle and Louis-Philippe have been living together for more than 20 years, but their story began nearly 30 years ago. They met in high school and fell in love at 16, becoming each other’s first true love. After they graduated, their paths went in two different directions, but after some time apart, they reconnected and picked up right where they left off! Together, they embarked on their adult lives, starting with an apartment, then moving to a house, welcoming a dog, and eventually having two wonderful children. Ultimately, the couple decided all those years later to officially say “I do,” at the Honeyrose Hotel in Montreal, Canada, captured on camera by Sonia Bourdon Photographe and planned with the help of Osez Dire Oui.
Charming Art Deco details
Having lived in Montreal since the beginning of their journey together, Isabelle and Louis-Philippe quickly realized they wanted a special venue that offered a beautiful outdoor space for the big day. With a keen interest in architecture, they sought a location that was both charming and original. After a long search, they stumbled upon the Honeyrose Hotel in Montreal, and it took their breath away! The art deco details were simply stunning, and they really liked that the rain plan was as delightful as the terrace option.

Chic urban wedding ceremony
The couple envisioned a chic yet simple urban wedding, so they decided on an intimate celebration with about thirty guests for the ceremony, followed by a shared meal with their closest friends.
Black and white editorials
Sonia Bourdon Photographe captured the power of black and white editorial photography during the ceremony for which the contemporary, urban architecture complemented the floral textures.
Color palette: Gold + pink + green + blue
For the wedding, the bride and groom chose a color palette of golden yellows, soft pinks, dark greens, and a hint of blue. The venue was so beautiful that all they needed was Anaïs Les Fleurs’ floral arrangements to add that special touch to the day.
Playing to the couple’s personality
With the help of Wedding planner, Mylène Mayer from Osez Dire Oui, they crafted a celebration that truly reflected who they are, breaking away from tradition. While they wanted their guests to enjoy the day, it was crucial for them to make choices that represented their personalities and created a perfect and memorable experience to share with their loved ones.
