Pastels & pops of jewel tones for this Vancouver restaurant wedding

Share

Vancouver restaurant and bar wedding

This editorial shoot was inspired by a fusion of Western design with traditional Southeastern Asian customs within the intimate setting of a local, renowned restaurant. The York Room at Hawksworth Restaurant – the perfect setting for an intimate reception or private dinner – seats up to 54 guests. It features the classic architecture of the iconic Rosewood Hotel Georgia, complete with stained glass, chandeliers, and stunning crown moulding. With a curated menu and custom cocktails, it’s easy to see why any couple and their guests would enjoy the best dining experience the city of Vancouver has to offer! Photographed by Chuunice Photography, it’s easy to see from this inspo that it’s the perfect option for anyone who wants a luxurious smaller wedding.

Delicate yet saturated invitation design by Esgee Art Design set the stage in a variety of pastel tones. Envelopes featured floral interiors, while the stationery itself was in shades of creams and light pinks with grey or white writing in an array of traditional and modern fonts.

Bridal style: All about the (dress) details

The bride’s style first incorporated a white Western style wedding dress from Eva Lendel (“Lanvee”) adorned with beading from Union Bridal. This dress was perfect for the private vows and portraits. The groom wore a modern, chic grey suit and black bowtie that matched the bride’s modern look.

Accessories: Minimalistic modern jewelry

Later on, an ivory, extravagantly embellished lehenga with feather sleeves from Wellgroomed Design Inc. was a perfect option for the celebratory dinner party. The look featured simple and modern jewelry from Her Fashion Vault, while hair and makeup, by Clara Leung and Paige Griffith, respectively, played off of a natural glam.

Florals: Whimsical pastels and jewel-tones

The floral design was whimsical and wild, a specialty of Garden Party Flower. Pastel colors were complemented by pops of jewel tones, while lightly colored tapered candles lit the evening ambiance as the sun went down.

The centerpieces added to the romance and celebration, while gold cutlery added a luxurious flair. Esgee Art Design created romantic menus, which went hand-in-hand with invitations that included custom floral garden artwork for the envelope liner and vellum wrap.
