And if you were on the fence about whether or not to invest in a second look…this pink gown will make up your mind once and for all. Our inspiration was largely based on the feel and colors of a romantic sunset in Provence. We were drawn to lush textural elements that would create an environment that was rich with color and highlighted the beautiful grounds of Chateau de la Gaude. The color palette was based on the hues of a “cotton candy sunset”-those beautiful skies filled with pink clouds just as the sun goes down. Inspired by these pastel hues, this editorial features a palette of pale peach, blush, lavender, and light blue, colors reminiscent of a warm evening in Provence.

We chose two looks for our bride and love the contrast between the two! The classic white gown from Dylan Parienty had a whimsical touch with the addition of a cape. The second Millia London gown gave a nod to those perfectly rosy clouds.

the florals

We wanted the florals for this shoot to feel lush and colorful. The team at Lettre á Elise outdid themselves! The floral arch provided a colorful focal point for the ceremony space, while still allowing the château’s facade to remain in full view. Abundant florals added a rich textural element to the intimate reception table. Our bride’s bouquet included an array of beautiful blooms that touched on every color in our palette.
