A floral explosion at an estate on the french riviera

bougainvillea floral arch for wedding

It’s no secret that chinoiserie-inspired weddings are trending, but this amazing team of French vendors decided to give the trend a twist. Instead of focusing on blue and white for the color palette, La Blonde et le Barbu leaned into complementary fuschia and blush that pop against a backdrop of blue. With an incredible historic estate on the French Riviera as their backdrop, this styled shoot is just as glamorous as you would expect. Keep scrolling to see even more of these vibrant photos by Clémence Aresu and to score some inspiration for your own big day.

This editorial takes place in the south of France, at Castel Bay, a modern and elegant venue located on the French Riviera. Overlooking the sea, it’s a fabulous place to get married with its gorgeous terraces surrounded by beautiful gardens.

the stationery

pink and fuchsia wedding invitation suite

This has to be some of the prettiest stationery we’ve seen in a while. We love how Encres et Nuances incorporated the actual floral designs and colors from the wedding. The choice of unique shapes and embellishments gives each piece a distinct look that plays into the overall experience.

La Blonde et le Barbu designed a colorful atmosphere in different hues of pink, combining modernity, romance, and passion. The ceremony was composed of an incredible arch, and small bouquets laid at the foot of the chairs to create a destructured path. The overall effect is an explosion of colors around the bride and groom.

They designed a bold table, the opulent flowers in pink hues enhanced by the stormy blue of the tablecloth. Bougainvillea adds a touch of modernity and small lamps have been installed instead of the usual candles.

The wedding gown was created by Hervé Moreau. The modern and elegant shape gives the bride a beautiful silhouette and evokes the proximity of the sea with its fishtail train.

a vibrant ceremony

Perched on the terrace overlooking the garden, an asymmetrical floral arch in shades of pink and fuschia framed the view. White-painted iron chairs with vintage scrollwork blended into the background and kept the vibrant florals as the focal point for the ceremony.

a champagne tower with flower power

how to do a champagne tower

These days, a wedding isn’t complete without a champagne tower, and no one does it better than the French. After all, champagne is kind of their thing. We love how they went all out on this vignette and made it part of the wedding design with its very own floral arrangement.

the cakes

Yep, you read that right, cakes! The beauty above was the cake that the couple would ceremoniously cut into, but in this design, guests would be treated to petite versions of the original at every place setting.
