This wedding planned in one month doubled as a modern art show

art deco wedding decor

After planning their wedding in just one month, Asya and Anton said “I do” last November. Their unique concept featured bold colors and artwork inspired by Alec Monopoly, Bearbrick, and Kaws figurines. Their wedding day was truly custom and unique to the couple.  It was a nod to a contemporary cartoon-ish design that blended vintage elements with the perfect ease.  Keep scrolling to see the design, planned with the help of Beeze Studio and captured by Oxana Nesmeyanova Photography.

An all-black dress code for guests

While the bride wore a dress by The Select, the couple suggested a totally black dress code for the guests, adding a layer of sophisticated charm to the event and creating a feeling reminiscent of the best red carpet-movie premieres.  The all-black dress code also allowed for their colorful artistic design to take center stage, particularly featuring whimsical florals courtesy of Flo Kiosque.

Ice as an artistic addition

The bride and groom elevated every detail of their down, down to the ice in their drinks.  Using purified water in circular and cubed molds, they adorned their guests’ drinks with ice cubes filled with colorful whole fruits and flowers.

A little bit of stand-up comedy

They chose yellows, blues, pinks, oranges, and greens for the decor, and instead of the traditional first dance, the couple opted to do a little stand-up comedy, roasting each other and entertaining the guests! After dinner, the bride kicked off the party in a super unique way with her own small DJ set.

A unique cake cutting experience

The bride and groom each had their own cake by French Cake, cutting it in a way that everyone would remember!  The adorable cartoon-ish figures served as art pieces throughout the reception before transforming into a delicious bite of dessert.
