Established wedding planner Glücksgriff Hochzeiten & Events recently had the privilege of collaborating with a talented team of vendors to create this fashion-inspired wedding photoshoot held in the stunning “Basilika Kloster Eberbach” in Germany. Built in the 12th century, Kloster Eberbach is one of the most significant artistic landmarks in Europe, and when it comes to wedding locations, it’s hard to beat the timeless beauty of a historic basilica. Two different bridal looks (courtesy of lieben.achten.ehren Bridal Concept Store) were created for this inspo shoot, each with a modern and elegant touch that perfectly complemented the model, Maike, who recently participated in Heidi Klum’s TV Show “Germany’s Next Top Model.” The first look was a modern take on the traditional ballgown. The dress was a stunning combination of tulle and lace with a full skirt that practically floated down the aisle. Isabella Kirchner | Divine Artists styled the bride’s hair straight with a glamorous head piece, and her makeup was soft and romantic. The second outfit showcased a bit of a stronger look, with a flowy cape embroidered with pearls and slicked back hair. The bride’s makeup for this look was shiny to connect with the beautiful lighting of the candles.
How to make modern design delicate and dainty
In creating the design, the team of vendors chose a color palette of green, beige, and sand to complement the natural beauty of Kloster Eberbach. The aim was to create a look that was both modern and dainty, with touches of romance and whimsy. The highlight of the decor was the abundant greenery and flowers by Blumen und Mehr throughout the space, including overflowing arrangements on the table and the beautiful floral ground arch at the wedding ceremony.

The reception table setting with rentals courtesy of Herzsprung Eventdesign and CB Events was equally impressive, with delicate place settings, gorgeous linens and chairs, and elegant candleholders that added a warm, intimate touch to the shoot. Of course, no wedding shoot is complete without a stunning wedding cake, and this shoot did not disappoint. The trendy wedding cake by Dales Cake in a retro style was a work of art with all the small, wonderful details. It was truly a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity in the world of weddings!
