These two dreamers are both talented musicians and are basically pure living magic. The groom-to-be, Mark Anthony, had been hatching this proposal plan for a while, and it was such an exciting journey bringing it to life. He had a clear vision for what he wanted this experience to be like, nestled in the boulders of Joshua Tree, and it was truly no-holds-barred in creating this most special of backdrops.

It’s not just about choosing the perfect place, but also choosing the perfect time (of day)
This magical setting was chosen because it is a place that is so special to them as a couple. It was a backdrop this soon-to-be-fiance knew would feel special for bride-to-be Sara. He created a little nook of memories in a wild desert wonderland at golden hour, all the while singing Sara a song he wrote just for her. It’s safe to say we highly recommend being proposed to by a talented musician! The surprise was perfection, and she did NOT see it coming!

A proposal can sometimes call for a few little white lies… but they’re worth it for the surprise!
The little white lies necessary to get this challenge pulled off were so worth it, and Mark Anthony even rallied a close friend to help with the creative setup while he got Sara there. The incredible tenderness these two have for one another – the joy, the laughs, the tears, the inspiration – all made for the most dazzling experience. It’s not hard to imagine the amazing life together that these two have in front of them!
