Color If Done Right Can Be Truly Timeless
Rivers Edge is a brand new venue located in Northern Illinois, and one thing when they asked me to help them with inspiration was to be able to show off the space. The room is so bright and inviting when you walk in, so when Erin from Event Floral and I were talking about the design, she brought up the idea of iridescent. With iridescent, the colors change depending on where you move, and with that palette, you have bright, colorful, and joyful hues. Bringing color into this white space was something we felt was needed to show brides that color isn’t something to be afraid of. It brings even more warmth and life into a space that is so bright and open. With the iridescent color palette, we wanted to include pearls into that because as you look at a pearl, it has the iridescent shine, and let’s be honest, pearls will never go out of style. When we started bringing things into the building, our inspiration board was literally brought to life. This shoot was probably one of my favorites because of the colors. I hope when brides see these photos, they are pulled into the world of color and, if done right, can be truly timeless.
