What’s this? Another streaming movie revolving around a JLo and a bridal designer collab? Count us in! Shotgun Wedding was just released today on Amazon Prime and it stars everyone’s favorite triple-threat, JLo, and the forever charming Josh Duhamel. What starts as a dreamy destination wedding quickly devolves into a hysterical high-octane action adventure when the bride, Darcy, (JLo) and Groom, Tom, (Josh) need to save their family…if they don’t kill each other first. No judgment on our end, wedding planning can be a b*%^#.

The promos for this were obvi already popping up on our for you recommendations, so when we got an e-mail about it from the team at Galia Lahav we were intrigued, to say the least. And besties, it was so much more than a press release! We have #BTS photos of JLo and got the deets on everything you could possibly want to know about this epic gown!

Trigger warning: if you find couture in distress disturbing, brace yourself, because Shotgun Wedding takes the “trash the dress” trend to the EXTREME. But is it weird that we’re kind of obsessed with the “destroyed” version???

The movie and the gown start out picture-perfect. The beautiful off-the-shoulder princess sleeves, voluminous tulle skirt, and beautifully draped corset bodice are very much giving their viral “Bellina” dress that’s graced the pages of Wedding Chicks many times before. Apparently, Galia Lahav meticulously constructed and created 28 versions of the same dress in just 1 month. They had to use special techniques so that it could be ripped and transformed into the sexy action-packed end look that you see here.
