I never got the chance to meet April and Jon before their wedding so outside of some phone conversations I really didn’t know what to expect. I love to get to know my couples but sometimes it’s just impossible, especially when people live far away which was the case for April and Jon – but from the conversations I had with them I knew we would get along great!
We started the day filming in New Haven at the Omni Hotel where both April and Jon were getting ready. It was tight quarters in both rooms but we made it work. Everyone was so friendly that I knew this was going to be an amazing day!
The ceremony was at St Mary’s church in New Haven which is such a beautiful place to film. I think I filmed there 4 times this year!
We then headed to thefor the party. After some formalities the dance floor packed right up and stayed that way the whole night!
Everyone seemed like they had such an amazing time which made our job a piece of cake!
