Nantucket-themed paper products for a traditional wedding

Share

I love how all of the paper products throughout this featured wedding from MA wedding invitation company, Marty Kelly Paper, are completely Nantucket-themed and whimsical.  Better yet, I really love how those whimsical touches blend beautifully with this traditional wedding design, complete with a rich and jewel-toned color scheme.  Here’s a brief description of why the couple designed their wedding this way:

Cara & Sam were married on Nantucket Island, where Cara’s family have a vacation home. Her sister was married on the island a year before, so Cara was looking for ways to make her celebration stand apart. Rather than having a classic “beachy” summer wedding, Cara chose to take advantage of the quiet serenity and rich colors of fall on the island.

You usually don’t think of a beach theme with such a rich and jewel-toned color palate, but I love how this couple decided to embrace the fall on Nantucket while still incorporating the island theme throughout their table decor.

The rich red and chocolate brown printing palate was seen as early as the wedding ceremony program.  Touches of gold were added at the reception.  I love how the island graphic pops in red!

A simple menu with the island icon at the top and two-color flat ink printing really brings in the Nantucket theme to the table decor without overpowering the entire table.  Notice the cool napkin rings too!

I totally love how each of these table numbers were completely authentic to the actual town signs on the island of Nantucket-complete with the arrows pointing to each location!
