As a child I spent some time on the island of St. Croix which is quite far from Punta Cana but, nonetheless I have a fondness for all things tropical. I instantly wanted to jump on a plane to sunshine, sandy beaches and crystal waters. So, if you are in a cold and snowy place in the middle of winter you will appreciate our next wedding that Lifework Images shared with us. They did an incredible job of capturing the love between David and Tyneka and that island spirit.

From the second we received their invitation in the mail, we knew that we were in for a treat of gorgeous details for David & Tyneka’s wedding. The invitations had impeccable attention to detail and had multiple layers of sea-blue shimmer paper with a finish of delicate velum. Upon unraveling the raffia bow and removing the miniature starfish on top, one could see that the font matched their customized destination wedding website. Opening the contents further reviled more information for guests, a map of the Dominican Republic, and also the provision of two custom luggage tags to match the theme.
The Dominican Republic and the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa provided amazing details in landscape and culture, more home made items such as programs which were also used as fans, beaded barefoot sandals, and David’s wonderful linen casual suit all complimented this beach themed wedding.
