Sara’s day began at home, where she got ready with her mom during a heavy rainstorm with strong wind gusts. Despite the weather, Sara was radiant, styled by London Makeup Artistry  and Beautiful You Hair By Sarah. Her look was soft and timeless to match her elegant, simplistic, ivory Dove gown by Grace Loves Lace.  The rain cleared just in time for Sara and Charlie's first look, but the wind proved to be much more resilient. Sara and Charlie’s first look was full of surprises, as Charlie did not fully decide what to wear until the morning of the wedding day! He was charming as ever in a navy suit, complemented by an all white boutonniere to match Sara's bouquet created by Tania Floral Design. The happy couple made numerous stops to sentimental locations throughout downtown London, on their way to the misty gardens of the Wheatfield Estate. Each and every perfect little moment was captured by Eyekahfoto Fine Photography, creating memories of joy to last a lifetime.

The sun came out with perfect timing for the ceremony, which took place in the center of a tall forest at the edge of Wheatfield Estate. The ceremony was officiated by Cheryl from Enduring Promises and accompanied by the beautiful acoustics of Juneyt Yetkiner, a flamenco guitarist. A small ceremony of their closest family and friends was the perfect audience for Sara and Charlie to share their vows. The soft lights strung in the trees gave the ceremony a truly enchanting atmosphere. To add to the magic of the moment, Sara and Charlie shared a choreographed first dance under the trees during the ceremony.

The wedding planner's best advice, courtesy of Perfectly Designed Events

1. Plan for the weather! This wedding started with an intense downpour followed by hours of strong winds. Although the temperature was perfect, we are so grateful to have had the clear tent with full clear walls! Even in the early morning rain, it was the perfect setting.

2. Use the beauty of your surroundings! When planning this event we were very aware of the beauty of the forest, the gardens and the potential for a perfect sunset over the open field to the west. We wanted to add floral elements that would enhance the beauty of the surroundings and not take away from them.

The bride's best advice, looking back:

"My advice would be 100% to hire a wedding planner. It makes your life so much easier, and it makes the day so enjoyable. There are just too many details to manage, especially when dealing with unpredictable weather. You need professionals!"
