Portrait of bride and groom with farm horse

As childhood friends, Stacy and Dennis spent a lot of time playing together and being around each other’s families. Since their dads were best friends, they often saw each other growing up and shared many fond memories. Once they graduated high school, they went their separate ways. It was fifteen years later that the pair finally reconnected. After Stacy initially reached out, it was clear that their friendship could quickly lead to something more and that it was meant to be.  Keep scrolling to hear more about their magical day at Sylvanside Farm planned by Joanne Woo, filmed by Kathykins Creative, and photographed by Manda Weaver.

Dennis and Stacy’s wedding boasted elegance, class, and a magical flare that reminds one of a fairytale. The lush green scenery and blue-green waters of the river made for a perfect backdrop for taking magical portraits, including a few shots with the farm’s horse before the ceremony. Stacy wore a romantic off-the-shoulder lace gown with a cathedral veil from Essense Of Australia to bring drama to the natural setting with her hair and makeup courtesy of Suhreal Artistry.

For the reception, the bright floral arrangements accented the rustic yet timeless old building, which was a gorgeous staple of the property. The old wooden interior of the barn hung with glowing lights and classic yet rustic touches. The reception was a beautiful and fun celebration, filled with smiling faces and the kind of joy that felt true and pure.

Their MVP (Most Valuable Piece… of advice!):

Don’t get overly stressed on trying to make it perfect because it won’t be. Ironically, the mistakes and little hiccups that happen will make the best memories!
