We hear it all the time, “I don’t wear a lot of makeup, so I’m thinking I want a natural look!” And we LOVE a natural makeup look for the wedding day; it’s timeless, it’s effortless, it’s fresh… BUT it’s STILL a full coverage face of makeup! Let’s break down some important things to keep in mind for the big day.
1. In order for your makeup to last through lots of tears, sweat, and (God forbid) cake in the face, it needs to be properly applied with the right products. It doesn’t need to be heavy, but it’s going to be more than your every day tinted moisturizer!
2. If you haven’t heard this from us or your photographers before- makeup shows up different in real life than it does on camera! Don’t be afraid to add more blush/bronzer/highlight than you would on a normal day.
3. For it to still look like you have dewy, healthy skin, 10 hours into the wedding… it needs to FIRST be full coverage and more on the matte side. We don’t want you to look like greasy little piggies when it’s the end of the night and time for golden hour photos!
