Table Runner How To:
Step 1
Rip several pages from an old book. (Or if you would rather not tear apart a book you can Google image search “Antique book pages” and print off any number of great images onto off white textured paper)
Step 2
Lay the pages haphazardly in the desired width and length of your table runner.
Hint: Be sure to all extra length to drape over the sides of your table for a dramatic effect.
Hint: if you have printed out your pages be sure to lay out your pages face down.
Step 3
Run long strips of packing tape down the length of your book page runner so as to secure them all together. Don’t worry too much about look of your packing tape, this will be the bottom of your runner.
Step 4
Flip the taped together runner over so tape does not show. If any of your pages, especially on the portion of the runner hanging off the table seem too lose add a few small loops of packing tape to the underside of the page and press it down onto the pages below it.
Step 5
Decorate your table in fun and funky book elements, add a beautiful floral centerpiece and watch your guests go wild!
