Bachelorettes Can Still Be the Absolute Best as a Backyard Bash

Share

Being a bride these days is legit like a badge of honor. You’ve been through it, ladies, and you all have stories to tell, that’s for damn sure. That being said, we want to make one thing clear: despite COVID putting the universal wedding planning experience through the wringer this year, brides can still come out on top and enjoy all of the events leading up to and including their wedding days. That includes the bachelorette party, because in our opinion, bachelorette-ing isn’t a place, it’s a mood – if you’ve got all the necessary parts: plenty of bottles poppin’, a socially-distanced pod of gal pals, a picturesque, pool-centric pad, and personalized paradisiacal paraphernalia for your people, then you’ve got it all. Wedding Favorites, the brand behind the cutest bachelorette, bridal shower, and wedding gifts, favors, and details around, has a Summer Collection that makes us smile. So, if you’ve got a bachelorette on the horizon, you’re going to want to hit up their bach-worthy wares!

Why we’re all for a [boujee] outdoor binger…

I mean, there are a lot of reasons why having a bachelorette celebration at home is a helluva lot better than a crazy globe-trotting tryst rn. Aside from the obvious health and safety concerns that accompany travel-related COVID risks, we’ve kind of gotten a little basic with our bachelorette agendas in an attempt to outdo our bride peers and their plans. Bigger isn’t always better, chicks, and you’ll neverrrr see us dragging a more intimate and simplified fun-in-the-sun soiree, because 1) it’ll probs be much less expensive than your exotic bachelorette trip would be 2) you can have fun cameos and drop ins by your fiancé or other fam who wouldn’t have joined otherwise and 3) with the right bachelorette “uniforming” and personalized girl gear, who needs new stamps on their passport?

Now, granted, not every bride and her besties has access to an oasis-like al fresco situation, but with new and improved Airbnb sanitation measures and safety cadences, renting a place with aforementioned vacay mainstays can be super easy and successful. If you’re not totally game to venture outside of your comfort zone and go too far from home (we see you, we’re not sure we’re really there yet, either), then you can always fake it till you make it at your cousin’s in-ground pool, with cute floaties, beach chairs, umbrellas, sarongs, sassy sunnies, and drinks that sip like you’re having them poolside in Palm Springs (that’s a good idea, too: if you’re having your getaway post October 13th, you can watch or DVR The Bachelorette with your bests and imagine you’re there with Clare… or Tayshia… whoever it actually ends up being). As long as you’re leaning into your bride vibes with the people you love most, you’re doing it just right 👌.

This pod came to play.

With everything still so up in the air, it’s absolutely OK to postpone your bach if you’re still in love with the adventurous, gotta-fly-to-get-there kind of trip – you can def still bring these Wedding Favorites with you, because #relevantAF. But if you’ll be keeping things local and just looking to amp up the festive factor of your females-only fete, then these party-perfect pieces need to be part of your plan.

We’re obsessed with all of it, but let’s be real, the perfume bottle-looking personalized drink bottles might be our biggest summer collection crush. Want to make them even cuter? Maybe see if you could have a fragrance mixologist come and help each one of your bridesmaids create a signature scent to bring home/maybe even wear for your wedding day. It’s a thought! Even if it’s masked…

Shout out what pops for you in these pics.

We’ll link everything below, because our “new normal” is a pain in the

This black-tie Dallas country club rehearsal dinner paired green-and-white tables, elevated Southern comfort food, a playful Texas-shaped groom’s cake, and a cardinal motif inspired by the snowy morning Jesse proposed.
Ikebana centerpieces, handmade attire, paper cranes, and a dramatic hanging wisteria installation brought a Japanese-inspired aesthetic to this post-elopement celebration at Hartley Botanica.
She brought the designer heels, and he brought the hiking boots to this wedding where creamy florals met vintage hunting-stamp stationery, a globe-trotting menu, and a stylish vintage car getaway.
