But Cyndi Lauper wasn’t the only inspiration for this little soiree, Blushing Joy Events also mixed in Alice in Wonderland, and the results are pure genius!

Fun & Funky Bestie Tea Party
From Blushing Joy Events: We were inspired to create a fun and colorful shoot about a quirky young bride-to-be, asking her friends to be her bridesmaids at a Mad Hatter & Cyndi Lauper inspired tea party. We focused on their dresses and accessories, to bring out a funky yet feminine look.
The mismatched tea sets and tableware paired with the soft and feminine accents of tulle and ribbon work perfectly to create a scene that represents the bride’s personality. The girls are adorned in colorful paper flower headbands that mimic real flowers. These head pieces were carefully crafted and customized to match their dresses.
Will You Be My Bridesmaid?
We incorporated pops of fuchsia and an Alice-like teal blue to highlight a whimsical and fun tea party. The girls enjoyed afternoon tea, along with colorful rock candy and champagne. They were also presented with a gold-rimmed shadowbox filled with goodies, including a bath salt, paper flower corsage, and a Voluspa candle. How can you say no to this thoughtful box??
We also included a yellow dresser, that is filled with overflowing greens and florals, and tasty treats. It’s a little Cyndi Lauper glamour meets Alice in Wonderland charm.
