Smiling from ear to ear, this couple’s love is infectious! Afua and Kyle are a big-hearted couple, so in love and with the same goals in mind. After nearly a decade of being apart, the two reunited and fell madly in love. The beautiful mountains as their backdrop and the gorgeous glow of the sun make for some lovely engagement photos. Their Love Story
Everyone can agree that there are many beautiful locations in Boulder, Colorado. But nothing makes Colorado more beautiful than golden light and a couple in love. We originally planned for a Chautauqua Park evening shoot, but when I offered to drive up to Lost Gulch Overlook as well, thankfully Afua and Kyle agreed to the extra adventure! Lost Gulch Overlook is an easy drive up to Flagstaff Road, and completely worth the view.
Afua and Kyle are the sweetest couple! They originally met in 2012 in Boston while both working with City Year Boston, an amazing non-profit that helps students thrive in school. After dating for a year, they went their separate directions as Afua attended graduate school in New York, and Kyle stayed in Boston. In 2015, Kyle moved to Denver, and after reconnecting in 2018, Afua joined him!
Their love story gives me goosebumps because they both took the time to grow up and become the best versions of themselves before coming together forever. Spending the evening with these two lovebirds reminded me that true love is worth the wait! I am so excited for their wedding at Blanc Denver in September 2021!

An outfit change is always a good idea. Whether you rock something casual or something a little more dressed up it’s a great option to have that will enhance your scenery and overall feel of the images! The golden light for Afua and Kyle was exquisite and really gave a romantic vibe for the couple amongst the incredible backdrop.
