Who Will Love This Engagement Session

You and are your partner are a creative and stylish couple looking for an out of the box engagement session! You both love the outdoors and have a soft spot for the desert. Your friends consider you the fashion couple of the group, so your outfits will be on point.

Besides looking fabulous in a picture-perfect setting, you’ll also be snapping photos of two of you with your fur baby. Speaking of fur babies, scroll down to read

bringing your dog

 to your engagement session Tips

1. Let your photographer know your plans ahead of time
Make sure you share with your photographer that you’d like to include your dog in your session. They can double-check the location you’ve chosen is pet friendly.

2. Bring a dog handler
Consider bringing your bestie, maid of honor or anyone your dog knows. If the dog sees you while you are posing away, more than likely they will want to be with you. Having the dog handler take them on a light walk while your fur baby waits for their turn.

3. Wash Your Dog
Be sure that your furry friend is groomed and ready to go.

4. Accessories
As you see, Lainey & TJ put an adorable scarf on their pup, Lissie. We also love the idea of a dog in a floral crown or wearing a cute sign. If you opt just for a collar, be sure the collar is not frayed or shabby looking.

5. Bring All The Gear

Bringing all the gear may be obvious, but be sure to bring snacks, water and, toys to keep your furry friend busy. You want to make sure they are all taken care of, so you can concentrate on your engagement session.

Lainey is a jewelry designer and makes insanely cute jewelry. You can shop items like her bracelet ring above at her shop laineyoriginal.com. We too are in super love with her heart shaped engagement ring with a solid gold band. We could not find an exact match to her ring, but we found a few you might like here and here

From

Lainey & TJ knew they wanted to take their engagement photos in Joshua Tree National Park — they said it gives them the feelings of peace & adventure at the same time & I couldn’t agree more! It was also very important to them to include their sweet pup, Lissie! She was so well behaved (and well dressed!). I loved her custom handkerchief that said “My humans are getting married!”.
Speaking of style, I loved Lainey & TJ’s outfit choices! I always encourage couples to go bold with colors and these two nailed it! Their outfits showed so much personality. One last detail that I love is that Lainey designed and created all of the jewelry she is wearing (how cute is that “wifey” necklace!?).
We simply lucked out that we were blessed with the perfect cotton-candy-colored sky at the end of their session. Talk about the perfect backdrop!
