This Wedding Planner Is [Love] Always Her Brides’ Best Decision

When we ask brides what they’d say their best wedding planning decision was, they can come back with any number of things. But without fail and never any prompting, every bride who’s ever planned with Love Always Wedding Planning & Design says that hiring Ryan (its founder and all around total boss) was their best decision, bar none. We wanted to see exactly what brides loveeeed so much about their wedding planner, because when you use the word ‘love,’ it’s major, and it didn’t take any time at all to get to exactly where they all were.

A little bit about that name. 

We love a good name story, especially when so many planners and wedding professionals, alike, just use their name for their business ((we definitely don’t blame them, either! They’re the heart and soul of their everyday operations…)). 

So here goes, before Ryan MacKenzie became a wedding planner, she was a Merchant Mariner. She spent years sailing around the world: exploring, adventuring, getting energized and roused by her travels. So much so that when she would return home, she’d often redecorate an entire room and channel inspiration from her journeys into the process. Passion is what it was, and her husband recognized it, too! Now, since her emails back and forth with him were often the only communication they’d have until hitting another port, she couldn’t wait to get down to the bottom – where he’d endearingly sign off, “Love Always,” well, always.

These small details, these ‘little’ things, they always made the greatest impact on Ryan, so that’s why she named her business Love Always. #thecutest. Seriously, check out her Instagram page, this mommy boss has the sweetest family of four, we don’t doubt that Love is always part of her look!

And what her process looks like. 

Adopted from her experience as a Merchant Mariner, Ryan takes inspiration and cues from her couples and lets them inform and blossom into something truly unique, customized, and creative for their wedding days. But she’s able to be SO creative, because she uses the best tools for planning (Aisle Planner) to help streamline and templatize her process. In her mind, when all the granular details like contract cadences, scheduling, budget planning can be organized efficiently and easily for her clients, it can leave room for ALL the fun and bespoke details that should come out of wedding planning.
