The Proposal
Devon really woo’d us over by going above and beyond to surprise his bride-to-be, Danea so we had to share! Just wait until you see the video. From Devon: Danea is an actress who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. I proposed during a fake acting gig that I set up through her agent (who is a close family friend of mine). The gig was for a Los Angeles Tourists Commercial. It was shot on the rooftop of a building in downtown LA called Perch. I provided details on location, time, and attire through fake audition email that was forwarded from her agent. I hired a makeup artist, director, 2 videographers, and a photographer to make the gig feel authentic. She bought into it, and never suspected a thing. Towards the end of the shoot, she was instructed to face away from the camera for a scene in which she was told to spin around while throwing rose pedals in the air. When do you want to get married?
October 20, 2018 is our wedding date. It will be held at the Emerald of Queensridge in Las Vegas. October 20th is significant to us because it is the day we met and the day that we got engaged. It is also the date of when I lost my father (10/20/10). I believe having our wedding on that day will help remove the sombering overcast associated with that date, and help to shine a positive light on our future.
