THE PLAN
I had just graduated from Interior Design school and we had planned an adventure of a lifetime in California. We flew to LA and spent a couple nights there exploring and checking out WeHo, Downtown LA and everything it has to offer. We then rented a car and drove up the 101 highway and explored various towns, stopping along Malibu, Pismo Beach, and finally San Francisco where we stayed for an entire week.
We had one very nice dinner in LA, and my fiancee wanted to have another nice one in San Fran as well. After exploring for a couple of days and walking around through China Town, Little Italy, checking out a Cubs vs. Giants game, etc. the evening came for our nice dinner. We grabbed an Uber to a warming hut at the edge of the Golden Gate Bridge which resided next to a gorgeous, but tiny forest preserve that overlooked the ocean and bridge.
THE PROPOSAL
As I was taking photos, I turned around to find my fiancee on one knee beneath me and asking for my hand in marriage and to spend together forever – AND he hired a photographer to catch everything! I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking 🙂 Needless to say, we are happily getting married next June, 2017.
