Magic, Love & A Tropical Breeze
From Sun and Life Photography: The fog + light in this session was pure magic! We shot in several different locations on the beautiful island of Maui. Bella Bloom Maui provided amazing tropical florals and the bride wore a skirt and top from Salt on the Rocks.
Scott and Emmy met at a mutual friends beach party on Maui where they both had moved after college. They were married soon after falling in love and tied the knot in the SF Bay Area where their extended families lived. They have always called Maui home as a couple and for their fifth wedding anniversary they wanted to do something special that reflected their love for one another and the life they have created together on Maui.
They spend a lot of time on Maui’s laid back North shore and have beach days with their son at Ho’okipa Beach. Emmy’s favorite place on the island is just a short walk from their home up in the lush, green, rolling hills of Kula. They chose to take photos on a scenic road that Emmy and Scott would walk often while they were waiting for their son to be born.
