Anastasia and Jovani are two Brooklyn-based artists who have a love for travel, food, their sweet puppy Maximus, and each other. After they got engaged on a recent trip to Iceland, they celebrated upon their return to the city with a romantic, elegant session at Central Park, where there was so much green you could hardly tell we were smack in the center of the city. Algae Bloom Beauty
The most magical part of the day was when they got into a boat and rowed out into the middle of the lake, which by pure chance had a bloom of green algae that gave the water an ethereal jade color. It doesn’t happen often, and it’s not good to swim in, but that algae bloom added such a fairytale feel to the session.
