Our Honeymoon Was Cancelled
We started the week off with very mixed feelings! The decision was made for us that our Honeymoon was cancelled and we had no choice but to come to terms with this reality. We decided we could either be upset about the vacation and memories we were supposed to be able to create as newlyweds in Antigua or make the best of the situation. So, we brought Antigua to us and our home! We started the week off by relaxing by the beach, hanging out at the Tiki Hut, laying out in the sun and splashing around in the pool, and ending our honeymoon at our favorite restaurant with a candlelit dinner!
We originally were supposed to go to Antigua and stay at a beautiful Sandal’s hotel (where we still have not received a phone call or email from), but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to make it the best we could! We “arrived” on Saturday, April 4th, just enjoying the view and then you can see the rest of the week really just unfolded. We felt we had to keep up because on the second day, we received many text messages and phone calls from family and friends not only wanting more but NEEDING more of this type of content in their lives this week.

Told the Staff to take the day off. So, we deep cleaned all of the rooms, scrubbed + setup the outdoor furniture, & made it all nice for the guests. 🤗🧹🧽
