This Couple Let Their Planner Book Their Venue Without Ever Seeing It

Happy bride and groom smiling on their wedding day

Imagine having your entire wedding planned out, every detail finalized, and then you’re told that the venue you booked can no longer accommodate your wedding due to COVID restrictions. While this may seem inconceivable, this is a reality that couples and wedding planners are dealing with every day! And, it’s exactly what happened to this couple who planned their Florida destination wedding from afar. When they found out about the need for a new venue, there wasn’t enough time to make another venue scouting trip. Thankfully, they had an amazing wedding planner that was able to think quick and use their connections to get them an incredible venue that allowed them to keep their original wedding vision.

59 And Bluebell Events had been working with the couple since the beginning, as they planned their out-of-state wedding. When they had to find another venue at the last minute, she had the perfect one in mind, Eau Palm Beach. The stunning blush and rose gold florals by The Petal Creative complemented the beachy venue beautifully and gave the whole wedding that breezy Palm Beach vibe. Tina Blanco took these lovely photos that capture all of the beautiful details from the floral arbor to the floating votive candles and custom menus. A LAST-MINUTE VENUE CHANGE

After getting engaged on November 3, 2018, the couple planned to enjoy a long engagement. What they did not plan for was a global pandemic. Shortly before Brandon and Aynsley were set to say, “I do,” the venue they selected had to enforce unexpected COVID restrictions. Changing the date was not an option, but thankfully I fully understood what their vision was for their wedding and they trusted me to book a new venue site unseen. Yes, you read that right–they had never seen the venue! Since the mother of the bride was local, and also knew her daughter’s taste, she was able to easily give her stamp of approval. The beachfront romance of the Eau Palm Beach turned out to be the perfect landscape for the evening.

KEEPING THE ORIGINAL VISION

The best part? I arranged the day to include everything the bride and groom had wished for. They relaxed and got ready at their original venue. This way they didn’t have to forgo capturing special memories and could preserve the sentimentality. Then, on a perfect fall evening in Palm Beach, Brandon and Aynsley were married, followed by a confetti-filled reception one could never forget–oh, and fireworks! Everything came together like a masterpiece. The florals, timeline, music, and table decor were perfect!
