Tuscan Wedding Dream: A Bespoke Gown, Vineyard & Ancient Charm

Share

Bride and groom embracing in stone archway, wedding photo

From the bride’s bespoke off-the-shoulder gown to the lush vineyard backdrop and ancient stone walls, this Tuscan wedding is an absolute dream. Instead of a single venue, this couple made a destination of the entire village of Manciano. They started with a touching ceremony at the village church and then their guests were invited to explore the Castello Di Marsiliana and other ancient structures in the town. This wedding was scenic, immersive, and all together, the perfect destination wedding.

Il Mio Matrimonio worked closely with this couple to design their perfect wedding and create a truly unique experience for their guests. Vibrant floral arrangements were placed throughout the ceremony and reception venues to echo and enhance the lush Tuscan landscape. Castello Di Marsiliana is a unique venue because it is a destination in itself. Its stunning architecture provides good bones for any type of celebration. Saltn’Pepper took these dreamy photos that beautifully capture this special day. A MAGICAL ATMOSPHERE

Ludovica and Filippo promised each other their eternal love in the evocative atmosphere of the church in the village of Manciano, surrounded by floral decorations, rich aromatic plants, and wildflowers, in perfect Tuscan style. The bride was beautiful in her bespoke dress, created by Gabriella Rio using precious hand-embroidered linen, which left her shoulders uncovered giving her a romantic allure–simple but incredibly refined. Guests were welcomed, for the reception, into the ancient Castello Di Marsiliana, dating back to the twelfth century. Their magical atmosphere has been expertly emphasized by the architectural lighting designed to enhance the ancient stone walls. Guests dined on long bare wooden tables decorated with compositions of moss, flowers, and blackberries, and tasted a delicious traditional Tuscan menu. Fun was the goal of the evening. Everyone was involved in toasts, flash mobs, and dancing until late in the evening.
