Boho Wedding In The Mountains of Montana

Boho Wedding In The Mountains of Montana

A red vintage convertible, the perfect gray-blue sky, and a mountain backdrop that looks too good to be true–just a few of the reasons that this stunner of a wedding simply had to be shared with the world. The ceremony was held outdoors and the wind in these shots by Jackie And Michael Photography is giving us life! After the intimate ceremony, guests were treated to an elegant candlelit dinner in a repurposed barn. The dark wash on the wood adds a fun moody element to this boho wedding theme.

Every Pretty Detail, the planners, certainly lived up to their name with this one because they left no stone unturned and no detail overlooked. We love these wild and voluminous arrangements by Amber EverlyFoster Creek Farm is such a magical venue because not only does it offer couples a warm wood barn space, but it is located in the middle of one of the nation's most scenic landscapes. You truly can't beat the view. Jackie And Michael Photography was also there to get every special moment on video. FINDING THE RIGHT VENUE

Boho Wedding In The Mountains of Montana

Korey and Russell have known each other their whole lives but were never in the same circles growing up. That all changed when Korey came home for a couple of weeks in the summer of 2018 and ran into Russell again, and the two hit it off. They’ve spent the last few years in Montana building their lives together, with their herd of cats and chickens. It was important to Korey and Russell to create a wedding experience that was unforgettable, and they felt that Foster Creek Farm was the perfect venue to do so. They rented out the venue for the weekend, which included the barn, the manor house, and several cute little glamping tents and cabins, then kicked it all off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night with their closest friends and family.

THE BIG REVEAL

Boho Wedding In The Mountains of Montana

The next morning everyone awoke refreshed, and ready to tackle the busy day ahead. Korey, Russell, and their wedding party started getting ready, while the amazing planner and her team started setting up and taking care of every detail. The barn was a perfect backdrop for the modern yet rustic look that Korey was hoping for, and the coordinator did a great job integrating a terracotta color palette with the chic and modern vibe of the décor.

MAKING AN ENTRANCE

Boho Wedding In The Mountains of Montana

Once Korey and Russell were ready, they met up for their first look on the balcony of the barn. It was important to Korey and Russell to read each other their vows privately before the ceremony, and it was the perfect time for them to have a moment of intimacy before they began the festivities. After the first look, the bridal party took some photos then headed up the hill to the ceremony location. As the ceremony began, the Montana sky was putting on its own display as the clouds rolled in. However, the real showstopper was Korey and her father pulling up in a beautiful red vintage convertible and heading down the aisle together.

DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY

Boho Wedding In The Mountains of Montana

After the ceremony, we all headed back down to the barn for cocktail hour and knocked some family photos out of the way before the dinner service started. Just A Taste catering created a delicious menu that everyone seemed to enjoy, and 406 Bistro had the most delicious desserts to finish off the meal. Once dinner was over, the speeches and cake cutting came next. Gina And The Wildfire began playing and the couple had their first dance. The band kicked it up into high gear afterward and the guests began to party it up on the dance floor. Korey and Russell danced alongside their guests for a while, then headed outside to take some blue hour photos, and get some time alone to soak in that newlywed feeling. After spending some time dancing away and the night wound down to a close, their bridal party headed out in front of the manorhouse and gave them a proper sparkler send-off.
