We recently spent a few days scoping out the dreamy Southwest Florida venues and Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina was one of them! We sat on the pool deck sipping tropical cocktails and snacking on ahi tacos in what seemed like paradise and struck up a conversation with some guests sitting next to us who happened to be attending this very wedding the following day. In fact, we actually saw Laurin in her amazingly adorable bride bikini. This was a destination wedding and the guests were taking full advantage of relaxing and enjoying this amazing property.
Laurin and Dave have been together for 7 years this year, and they recently bought a house together. So, of course, a proposal was soon to follow! Dave proposed on a trip to Nashville on Valentine’s Day in the morning with breakfast in bed. Laurin and Dave traveled from Central Florida to the sandy beaches of Southwest Florida and decided that their perfect wedding venue was the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina located on Fort Myers Beach. The brides getting ready room boosts a large floor to ceiling window that is perfect lighting for those beautiful getting ready photos. They were surrounded by close friends and family that truly supported them. Laurin’s vision for a boho inspired theme was some of my favorites- especially her florals by River District Floral and Pronovias dress from Calvet Couture Bridal! They ended the evening dancing the night away next to the pool and with the sound of the waves in the distance.

We have gone on vacation to fort Myers with my family ever since I was a kid , it’s my favorite place in the world! I usually stay at the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa when we stay in fort Myers but I’ve always wanted to go to pink shell and they have a lot of things included in their wedding package. It was a perfect fit for us!

The Couple’s Attire & Looks
I wore a Pronovias dress from Calvet Couture Bridal. I’m not sure the exact style but my cousin picked it out for me and it fit my style perfectly it was the perfect dress for me. Dave wore a white dress shirt, navy dress pants and jacket from Mens Suit Warehouse and no shoes.
Salty air & beachy hair Jessica Domoney SLAYED and did the most beautiful boho braid for my wedding day. You made our day 10x better.

Remember that all the little things that you think matter, don’t. The day of the wedding all I cared about was having fun and marrying the love of my life.
Stand Out Moments?
Spending time with all of our favorite people at our favorite place! Our wedding exceeded my expectations by far it was the best day of our lives.
On 5/1/21 I married the absolute love of my life at my favorite place on earth surrounded by the people who mean the most to me. Feeling like I’m in a fairytale because this day was so much more than I had prepared myself for. All of the things I was stressing about didn’t matter at all. All that mattered was me and you.
Whenever my dad was going through cancer I remember thinking to myself, what if my dad isn’t going to be there to walk me down the aisle? Something you never think that would cross your mind. This moment meant 100x more to me than I ever thought that it would. There’s nobody in this world that gets me quite like he does (probably cause we’re the same person) Saying he is my best friend would be an understatement. He is my biggest fan, my bike riding & fishing buddy, my protector and the best damn dad I could have asked for. I love you more than words can express.
