The third time is a charm for this Florida couple who finally tied the knot despite having to change plans three different times because of COVID-19! In March of 2021, the clouds parted (literally and metaphorically) and gave way to a perfect sunny Florida day. Because of their super versatile color palette, their wedding design could have literally worked for any season, it was just a matter of booking the date and making sure that the couple and all of their guests could make it to the venue safely. The floral arrangements, including a spectacular floral arch, were mostly neutral with rich red and coral notes. The bridesmaids’ dresses and some of the furniture rentals brought in bits of blush that added a soft, romantic touch to the entire affair.

Runway Events was there every step of the way to make sure that the couple was comfortable with the ever-changing plans and helped them create a design that could evolve. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is the perfect combo of modern and boho with its streamlined architecture and waterfront outdoor space complete with palm trees. THE BIG DAY FINALLY ARRIVED!
After having to reschedule their wedding three times due to COVID, it was finally time for Sarah and Steven to have their wedding day! Their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress was the perfect mix of chill and boho. The ceremony took place out on the lawn facing the water, with a circle arch adorned with pampas grass and palm fronds created by Gatherer Floral Co. who also did the florals for the rest of the wedding. The arch was later repurposed inside behind the sweetheart table for the reception. The sweetheart table had a dusty rose couch instead of individual seats for Sarah and Steven, which went perfectly with the bridesmaid dresses.
A MEMORABLE EVENING
Everything about this wedding was memorable, from the decor to the maid of honor rapping during her speech. Sarah opted for an outfit change, she went from a mermaid-style bridal gown for the ceremony to a fun and chic jumpsuit for the reception. The night ended with a late-night snack of pizza and specialty donuts, followed by a sparkler exit.
