Wedding Venue
The Club At Pasadera is a timeless Spanish-inspired wedding venue in Carmel, California. With all the rescheduling of weddings, we thought this shoot could help inspire couples to not cancel but downsize their wedding. What better place to have an intimate wedding than one of the most stunning and picturesque wedding venues on the California coast!
California Kind Weddings designed and planned this colorful event at The Club at Pasadera wedding Venue in Carmel, California. Heart Paper Soul put together some elegant marbled paper goods for the invitations and menus. Our couple was radiant in their attire, provided by Epiphany Bridal Boutique.
Hair and Make Up
Ashley with Blush did a natural hair and makeup look to accent the bride’s already natural beauty. For the ceremony site, Cassia Foret created a stunning, nontraditional deconstructed floral arch installation in front of the gorgeous wooden doors. California Kind Weddings created a stunning dining table experience using Chic Event Rentals to create a romantic setting for an intimate dinner. A uniquely designed cake by Tart + Tin was created to make the feel and design of the event.
Their love story
The couple’s story: It can surprise us how quickly a day can turn into a week and a week into a year. The daily chaos has a way of speeding up time, getting us lost in the needs of the moment, and forcing us to push aside bigger plans and dreams to just make it to the end of the day. For many, 2020 has only magnified this quandary with COVID, wildfires, and tenuous election seasons.
Laurie and Deejay had been planning their idyllic wedding for several years only to have the onslaught of COVID force them to change plans from a large wedding with all their friends and family to an intimate gathering with only their closest loved ones. Then the wildfires in August brought dangerous air and oncoming wildfires, forcing them to postpone their date yet again. After so many delays, this loving couple decided to make their special day a priority at all costs and with any restrictions required, as long as they could look into each other’s eyes accompanied by their angelic daughter to formalize their everlasting love to each other and their family.
