Artwork was the inspiration; bold statements, clean lines, sharp edges, a brush of romance and a wash of candlelight all represented this Modern Elegant Wedding design by Sugar Rush Events.
Art was a love for both the bride and groom and we represented it in as many details as we could fit on our canvas. The bride chose a clean color palate of white, pewter and black. The bride allowed the venue to become part of the design, a key design feature for any bride wanting to play up what the venue has to offer!
The reception was all about soft florals contrasting with the sharp lines of the rectangle and square tables and compass chairs. The pewter crinkled linens brought texture and depth to the tables and the candles, oh boy, the candles (there was hundreds) brought the soft romantic glow that washed over the entire room. The cake table was placed in the center of the room and a crystal chandelier hung above it, giving it the distinction that it deserved.
The dance party that took place in the bottom floor of the venue was transformed into a club. Black and white ink sketched rugs, mirror tables and white fur pillows stood out in the 6 lounges that surrounded the all black dance floor. The lighting was bold, bright and brought a sexy, edgy vibe to the after party. Guests enjoyed donut and milks shots, late night snacks, good drinks and great music!
