Vintage Hollywood Hair and Makeup
Idaho makeup artist, Makeup By Morgan created a very glam bridal look for Lilly. It had all the vibes of a vintage Hollywood actress. Think Grace Kelly with her sleek hair and her diamond drop earrings.
Bridal Look and Feel
Lilly wore an unlined bodice and off the shoulder dress designed by Maidson James from Kates Bridal Cottage. The tiny fabric blossoms lend texture and airiness to this classically beautiful wedding dress. The dress was perfectly paired with silver snakeskin, T-strap Jimmy Choo wedding wedges.
Lilly’s bridesmaid wore mismatched black bridesmaid dresses with simple white rose bouquets. A polished look that is easy for your bridesmaids to replicate.
All White Wedding Bouquet
Bev at Petal Works Design Studio designed Lilly’s 1940’s glam all-white wedding bouquet. This ultra-glam wedding bouquet was overflowing with white – Playa Blanca Roses, Dahlias, Mini Calla Lillies, Calycina, and Baby’s Breath. Bev added a bit of Palm Fronds to add a whisper of greenery to the ultra-feminine wedding bouquet.
White Tuxedo With Black Trim
AJ looked incredibly dapper in his all-white tuxedo with black trim. He finished off his modern groom look with an all black watch and black slip on shoes.
His groomsmen followed the all-black theme and wore black suits paired with white rose boutonnières. They popped a bottle of Champagne and toasted before the wedding ceremony.
Black and White Wedding Ceremony
The dusk ceremony was held at Lilly’s parents’ backyard underneath a gorgeous tree. The couple stood on a black platform with two white floral installations on either side of them. Guests sat on all black bistro chairs as the couple said their, ” I Dos.”

BLACK AND WHITE WEDDING RECEPTION
Lilly and AJ wanted a laid back wedding reception that is thoughtfully designed. Boise wedding planner and stylist Chosen Events went above and beyond to create a reception that is not only stylish but feels welcoming.
The beautiful tables and chairs from Boise wedding rentals, Blush Creek Rentals were adorned with green garlands created by Petal Works Design Studio.
The tables were perfectly set with black chargers and white plates. Each setting was dressed up with black and grey goblets, black and white stripped napkins, and gold flatware to add a pinch of gold. All this tableware and decor was from Boise wedding rental specialists Flying China Events.
Ballon Instillation
Zeppelinballoons created this balloon instillation for the event. Balloon instillations make for the perfect photo op for your guests and set the tone for a fun party.
Personalized Wedding Touches
Tlc.reates created the black welcome notes along with the hexagon acrylic place cards.
Black and White Wedding Cake
Honey Bakes Cakery created this modern and romantically styled wedding cake. A textured, extra small, black tier contrast to the smooth white. A teeny, tiny bit of gold flecks are added to add a little fancy.
