Brooke and Luke’s seaside cocktail-style wedding in Perth, WA was filled, and we mean FILLED with Instagram-worthy details. Every detail is to be adored. From the pink crystal wedding cake to sparkling long sleeve wedding dress to the circular wedding arch to the cascading colorful bouquet – we loved it all! Brooke created her own wedding style she calls cocktail vintage luxe and had the wedding of her dreams on the Perth foreshore.

THE DRESS
Brooke’s dress was designed by Luna Willow, she had seen the dress on Instagram and always imagined wearing a long sleeve dress. Brooke planned a trip to Melbourne and knew she wanted to try it on so she headed to And The Veil in Geelong. Brooke wore the Paris by Luna Willow, Paris was designed to sparkle as bright as its show-stopping bride. Made with a unique, fully embellished clear crystal beaded tulle, this gown glimmers effortlessly. Featuring a flattering low open back, a-line skirt, v-neckline and sheer long sleeves.
The Ceremony
Brooke and Luke supplied water and hand fans for all of their guests to keep them comfortable. They also had an acoustic duo who played for guests as they arrived and while Brooke walked down the aisle. The couple made the ceremony even more meaningful by with a beautiful reading by one of Brooke’s friends.
Ceremony was followed by pop tails, grazing boards and lawn games before they moved over to the reception area, where we all enjoyed great music, food and drinks and danced the night away under a naked tipi covered in fairy lights.
The Couple
Let’s Rewind to 8 years ago.
Brooke: Let’s just say it wasn’t love at first sight for my part of our story… I remember us first meeting at a house party through mutual friends and I quickly learnt that he can seriously sleep anywhere and at anytime! He was out!! We continued to see each other at mutual friend’s places, first becoming friends, then lovers. After dating for a few months, I then told Luke I was going to Canada super last minute for possibly two years! I knew we had a special connection so we stayed in contact via Skype, talking and remaining good friends. I returned home after 5 months (yes I spent all my money haha) and we have now been together for 8 years!! For me it was always meant to be, I knew we were young so if it was meant to be it would be. I am truly marrying my best friend and count myself lucky everyday that I have such a supportive partner.
Luke: I first noticed Brooke at a friend’s pre-drinks for a summer festival we were all going too (because I have no recollection of the house party mentioned above) and was quite nervous to go and say hello. As the day progressed I finally got up the courage to talk to her and that’s where it all began for me. Needless to say, Brooke has been obsessed with me ever since (and who could blame her). Brooke’s down to earth personality and ability to take things in her stride are just a few of the reasons I fell in love with her and she continues to amaze me everyday.
VENUE
Nedlands Yacht Club in on the Perth foreshore we had our ceremony and reception there you have the freedom to design your own floor plan and style. It’s a mix of water, lush green grass and the Perth city skyline. The couple knew they wanted to be married outside in the open air once they had been to Nedlands Yacht Club, they fell in the love with the space. They were blessed with a beautiful warm and still night and they danced the night away under a naked Tipi.
FLORALS & TABLE SCAPES
The bride’s bouquet was predominately roses in a mix of blush, reds, pampas grass and orchids. Sir Botanical did an amazing job with all the flowers. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of blush roses and pampas grass that stood out against their deep burgundy bridesmaid dresses from Shona Joy.
Brooke’s style was a moody vintage luxe cocktail style wedding, she had a mix of low and high tables and then a couch area which included blush velvet couches and an emerald green velvet ottoman and to finish had a vintage rug, I styled all the tables with gold lanterns and pink rock salt lamps. The cake area and wishing well table was highlighted with a “Just married” neon sign that was attached to a pink background.
