So how do you have a “stress-free” wedding day? Well, we can’t give you all the answers, but we can point to examples that seem to work very well for others. Anne and Danny’s big day was planned out in a way that gave this sweet couple plenty of time to soak up the moment and enjoy one another’s company. Plan some wide-open spaces of time to step back and remember what the day is about and who you are excited to start a new life with.

From Let’s Frolic Together
All weddings should feel this carefree and fun. It was a giggle-fest mixed in with so many incredibly loving moments, vows that brought tears to everyone’s eyes, a major dance back down the aisle, and so many colossal moves on the dance floor, it’d make your head spin (and your booty shake). This magical garden venue that is Descanso Gardens is huge, and sprawling, and so full of lovely variety from oak groves to rose gardens to gorgeous nooks and crannies. I think one thing I especially loved about this day is that Anne and Danny dedicated so much time to adventure around this huge and gorgeous garden for portraits… more time than we’re normally given with our couples, yay! But what that really meant is just a whole bunch of quality time together for *them* prior to the kick-off of the ceremony. That meant a super relaxed pace, a totally stress-free experience, and a wonderful period dedicated to them actually just adventuring and enjoying their shared time on their special day.
We were especially fond of that delightful first look, of keeping their wedding party super compact and having each of their best man and maid of honor also act as their officiants. Anne’s amazing bouquet of flowers was also a dream, and their heritage nod for their sesame balls and tarts as a dessert was such a special touch. We loved the way they danced back down the aisle and the volume of tears and laughs and joy shared by all.
